A versatile performer, Victoria McGee's career now spans over two decades.
Her stage presence is energetic & infectious.
McGee's love for performing has seen her perform on some of the country's most renowned stages and arenas & headline alongside many industry greats.
Throughout her career, Victoria has shared the stage with artists such as, Grace Knight, The Seekers, Wayne Horsburgh, Louie Shelton, The Wolverines , Angry Anderson (Rose Tattoo) , Golden Guitar Winner Adam Harvey, Alan Jackson (USA), Craig Campbell (USA) , Kasey Chambers, Morgan Evans, The Sunny Cowgirls many more.
McGees unique & authentic tone, reminiscent of a bygone country era makes McGee's voice distinct & unmistakable setting her apart from other female singers in the Australian Country Music Industry.
Although a versatile artist, Victoria's first love is country music and it is here, she has enjoyed much success.
During a visit to Tamworth Country Music Festival she was noticed by chance by Nashville Hall of Fame Inductee, Producer and Guitar Legend Louie Shelton.
Louie has produced and played for artists such as Lionel Richie, Seals and Croft, Boz Skaggs, Jackson 5, Neil Diamond, Barbra Striesand, Kenny Rogers and the list goes on.
Taking Victoria under his wing, Louie produced McGee’s debut album “You’ll Remember Me”. Shelton sourced songs from some of Nashville finest Songwriters, whose record credits include Trisha Yearwood, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Sara Evans & more, which was released at McGee & Shelton’s sell out show “The Legend & The Lady” during Tamworth Country Music Festival 08’.
During 2008, Victoria released two singles from her album to both Country Music Radio Australia and Country Music Channel. She debuted with the hit “Run With It” and in late 08’, enjoyed her first taste of real success entering the “Top 30” countdown on the Country Music Channel (CMC) Charts with her single “I Can’t Wait”.
2009 proved another huge year for McGee, with the successful release of her third single “Windows on a Train”.
In 2013 Victoria released her second album "Fire in the Wind", also produced by Shelton & again featuring songs from Nashville's top songwriters.
McGee collaborated with Australia's finest harmony Trio "The Robertson Bros" on Backing Vocals with Brother Geoff joining McGee to perform on the hit single duet "Don't Leave The Leavin'".
Fire in the Wind took Victoria & Louie to perform in Nashville USA for CMA Fest Representing Tourism Australia.
During their time in Nashville Victoria performed in some of Nashville's most renowned Honky Tonks, Showcases & Festival Stages.
Victoria’s third studio album is currently in production.
Over the years Victoria has headlined Tamworth Country Music Festival including performing 16 shows with The Wolverines and Angry Anderson & has performed at major country music festivals including The Deni Ute Muster & CMA Fest USA.
A familiar face on Australian Television, Victoria first appeared on National Television when she was Thirteen, performing as the opening artist on the 1997 “NBN Telethon” alongside acts such as Grace Knight & The Seekers.
2005, would be a major stepping stone, for Victoria, as an artist. From 10,000 hopefuls, she was selected “Top 5”in her age category on Network Ten’s Australian series of “THE X FACTOR”.
June 05 saw Victoria audition successfully for Australian Idol series # 3, from 25,000 people who auditioned for the show, Victoria was selected, among the “Top 30” contestants, giving her yet another opportunity, to perform live on National Television.
2018 Saw Victoria return to National Television as a judge on Channel 7’s hit TV Show “All Together Now”, Victoria was invited along to judge beside industry greats such as Rhonda Burchmore, Mark Gable (Choirboys) and Ronan Keating.
Victoria has had the honour of performing for major events such as NBL Matches, NRL Matches, PBR Australia (Pro Bull Riding)
& Pro Boxing Championships seeing her perform in some of the countries largest arenas.
Victoria is currently touring Australia with her “Crazy For Lovin’ You” The Life & Songs of Patsy Cline Show.
